It Takes a Village...

...to make a wedding happen!

On Friday, my fiance and I went to a friend's wedding. This wedding was full of beautiful DIY projects. I can't wait to share them with you!

The groom is the son of Mom's best friend, so she was VERY involved with the wedding prep. And Super-Crafty Sister? She was the wedding photographer!!! She and her boyfriend have started a wedding photography business (they did our engagement photos) and this was their first full wedding. I can't wait to share the pictures with you!

In the meantime, here are some pictures from two nights before the wedding, when the whole neighborhood came together to make the beautiful details happen.
Putting the centerpieces together...

These are what the bridesmaids carried. Lovely!

Note: if you're thinking of making these, they can be very difficult to make, store, and transport because of their shape!

There are many more pictures to come. Has anyone else find themselves noticing wedding details more now that you are planning a wedding?
