Here is the background on the Honeymoon Shower. Our friends wanted to throw us a shower but we were already having two bridal showers and they really wanted to do a couples shower. They suggested a "Stock the Bar Party", but we just don't feel the need to have a fully stocked bar. What did we really need? Gifts from our honeymoon registry! So they agreed to host a Honeymoon Shower for us!
It was a huge success. We had friends from all parts of our lives show up - preschool, middle school, high school, college, grad school, family, etc etc. We had a pool party and bbq at our friends' house - so much fun.
And we made a killing. We received $500 in gifts toward our honeymoon! Plus a bunch of other fun gifts to enjoy on our honeymoon, including some slightly awkard ones from Super-Crafty Sister! Check out all the presents!
Wait until you see the photos of me opening the gifts - especially the awkward ones! Priceless. Stay tuned.
