We Have Flowers!

We woke up bright and early this morning to head to a wholesale florist's shop about thirty minutes away. Super-Crafty Sister visits the local farmers' market on a weekly basis, and has gotten to know the owners of this shop. She arranged for all the flowers for my wedding to be purchased through them at a great price (read: just over $500 for ALL the flowers - bouquets, centerpieces, ceremony decor, etc etc!)

We drove up to their little shop, which Super-Crafty Sister had warned us was a "hole in the wall" place. She was right! :) But it did seem to have its own bit of charm about it...

In the back of the store were buckets and buckets of...my flowers!

We loaded them all into the mini-van...

And headed to my florist's house. My florist is a family friend who is arranging everything at her house as her wedding gift to me. How lucky am I??

I'm not usually a fan of roses, but these were so beautiful that they just might be making their way into my bouquet!

I can't wait to see how it all turns out!
