Zip Code or No Zip Code?

Who knew such a simple question could cause so much frustration. The invitation wording is done, finalized, and about to be sent to the printer. And then Dad asks, "Why do they have the zip code for the church and reception site?"

Hmmm. Good question. I had just written the address out, exactly as I had found it on their websites. I hadn't given it too much thought. They looked right. I hadn't questioned it.

But I began questioning. I began looking at other wedding invitations. Hmmm. No one included the zip code.

But they are good reasons for including the zip code. No, no one will be mailing anything to those locations. But it does help when trying to find directions and/or "things close to" the sites on the Internet.
But, in the end, I decided to go with the flow. No zip code. I honestly don't think it really looks that different with or without (the entire address is written in one line). But since that is the way "it is done", that is how it shall be done.
Whew. Glad we got that figured out. Super-Crafty Sister is taking them to the printer today. Yay!
Have you had any seemingly simple questions become entirely too complicated?

  3. No zip code, in fact unless you live in a huge city (like Tampa or Orlando) You leave off the entire address. only exception would be if 2 churchs or cclubs have simular names.
