No Fluffy Ring Bearer Pillow for Me!

Or at least I don't think so. (What does one do with their ring pillow after the wedding anyway?)

I love love love these ring bearer bowls by Paloma's Nest. They sell ones with these sayings...

Or will make one with a custom saying just for you:

I love the idea of having this as an heirloom, and hanging it as an ornament on our Christmas tree every year. My only fear would be our rambunxious ring bearer maybe dropping it and shattering it on the way to the alter! But I'm trying to think positively. He surely wouldn't dropkick it in front of the church....would he? Then again...my three year old godson just might. You'll meet him soon. He has told us he doesn't want to be the ring bearer - he wants to play the drums. :)

Back to the bowls...what do you think? Which one is your favorite? Or should I try to convince my uber-talented and oh-so-artsy sister Shannon to make one of these for me? :)

  1. To me, I'm only having a ring-pillow because its tradition. We're not even putting our rings on it haha.

  2. I love those!!! I personally like the "to have and to hold" one the most!

  3. I LOVE Paloma's Nest! We ordered two ring bowls for our wedding (we had two ring bearers).

We got them engraved with our favorite Jack Johnson Lyrics.

    Bowl one:
It's always better when we're together (our song)
February 1, 2007 (the day we started dating) T hearts A

    Bowl two:
We share the same Soul (The song I walked down the aisle to)
August 30, 2008 (our wedding day)
    A hearts T

We use our ring bowls everyday, they hold our rings! lol :o)

  4. Love the bowl idea. Seriously...where was Shannon on June 9, 2007?!?!?!?

  5. I love the custom bowl! I just ordered one for my best friend who is getting married in a couple of weeks with her name, her hubby's name, and their wedding date.

  6. These are fantastic Callie, i wish we had done this, but I really think it would be a cool thing if Shannon made one! Come on Shannon, I know you can do it ;) I love the idea of a daily ring bowl AND an ornament! Fantastic!
