Four Months To Go!

Four months from today I will marry the man of my dreams.

So exciting! But at the same time, I can't believe how quickly our engagement has flown by! This hit extra hard this morning when I stepped on the scale. I told myself when we got engaged that I would lose 10 pounds by the wedding. Five months into our engagement, I haven't lost a thing!

Time to jump start the fitness/weight loss plan. Any ideas/suggestions to get my butt in gear?


  1. Congrats on hitting the 4 month mark! I hit the 4 month mark in 7 days! :-)

    Work out- I highly recommend Julian Michaels 30 Day Shred and a power wheel (pretty much an ab roller but it also has feet straps.....KILLER ab workout). Good luck! I need to jump on the workout bandwagon too!

    GO RUNNING!! Drink lots of water and get sleep! Literally run your butt off!

  3. Obv workout, but for eating...everytime you're tempted by bad food, just say a little mantra in your head "wedding. wedding. wedding." - something like that.

  4. Things that help me:
    Drink lots of water.
    ADD fruits and veggies to every meal.
    Add 10-15 minutes to whatever cardio you are doing. It doesn't have to be strenuous, just keep moving for that extra time.
    AVOID fast food at all costs. It will kill you, it tastes like crap, has the highest sources of sodium, saturated fats and calories of any other food out there. Go eat a foot long with everything at Subway, just stay away from any place you can drive through.
    Avoid all alcohol for one week (you'll drop at least a pound if you have a drink a day).
