Anemone Obsession

By now you all know about my anemone obsession. I absolutely love how classy and elegant they look. You all also probably know that I am opting not to have a "traditional" wedding cake, but am choosing to go with a "dessert buffet" instead, with several small cakes.

But these beautiful cakes keep showing up in my cyber world. Mom keeps telling me we need to have a "theme" to our wedding. Could an anemone be a theme?

Do you (or did you) have a theme to your wedding?

  1. Anemones can definitely be at theme! I'm pretty sure our theme is Stripey. I love the anemone cakes.

  2. Wow, that first cake is SO pretty. We totally don't have a theme and it kind of drives me crazy. I guess it is pretty fall-ish. Does that count? haha

  3. I built my entire wedding around yellow tulips and my daisy cake! Anemones could deffinetly be a theme!

  4. That first cake reminds me of a hat in My Fair Lady. I may have to pull that movie out and see if it really looks like it.

  5. We don't necessarily have a theme. Being slightly OCD, at times it would be easier for me if we did have one. Like hisMrs, the wedding is fall-ish. Although, mine only had fall colors - no leaves, no pumpkins. Nothing that really says "fall" other than burgundy and gold hues. Wow - now I just realized we really don't have a theme! Eeeek! :)

Oh, and anemones could certainly be your theme - just carry it out throughout! Love love love it!

  7. I love those flowers!

I guess my theme is peonies, because they're going to be everywhere in light pink, bright pink, and white!

  8. Of course anemones can be a theme! You could add pops of black to carry it out. You have excellent taste!
