The invitations will be finished this weekend. (Really, they will!) I am trying to get a head start on addressing them. But I have run into a dilemma.
My inner envelopes are "antique gold" as shown below. They actually are darker than this one looks. And they are shimmery (Stardream paper from Papersource).
Any ideas what I should use to write on these??
By the way, thanks for all the kind words yesterday. I'll explain soon, I promise. It is very wedding related, but also very family related. Thanks for caring about me. :)

If you're set on addressing them by hand, I'd buy a couple of fine line sharpies, which should not bleed or smudge. You can get them in just about any color your heart desires. If it were me, though, I would send them through a laser printer. I think inkjet would bleed, but a laser should do fine.
ReplyDeleteWe used similarly shimmery red envelopes for our save the dates. I hand addressed each with a fine point black pen from Michaels. They looked really sharp! Hopefully I can learn to use a calligraphy pen before it's time to address our invitations!
ReplyDeleteHow about a fine tip Sharpie in brown?
ReplyDeleteI ran my shimmery turquoise ones through the printer and they came out nice.
ReplyDeleteHow about translucent wrap around labels?
