Flower Frenzy

I am meeting with my florist this weekend.

And it scares the living daylights out of me.

I have the hardest time visualizing what something will look like without seeing a picture. I have a feeling I will be doing a lot of that attempted visualizing this weekend.
I am pretty sure I know what I want for the centerpieces and boutonnieres.

The bouquets? I really have no idea. And it stresses me out.

Maybe white/ivory flowers for me and some color for the girls?

I love anemones, but have heard they are difficult to get and difficult to work with. Phooey.

I've been trying to gather pictures of bouquets that catch my eye, but I feel really lost in the plethora of flora. (Yes, I really did just type that). There is just too much to choose from!
Here are some photos I have saved over time (and I apologize because I really dont know where most of them came from). Remember, my girls are wearing little black dresses, and the guys are wearing black tuxes with garnet vests and ties.

Any suggestions??

I know I'm eating up your comment space. Sorry.
    A few comments:
Using BLACK centered gerbera daisies will give you the same look as anemones. Anemones will NOT be in season for your wedding, they do suck to work with and will be expensive.
I'm looking at similar style bouquets as you and have some pics of relatively inexpensive flowers I can share offline if you're interested.
My only real advice is not to get flowers that aren't in season in August. You will pay more and the quality will not be as good in most cases (not all). Have fun!

  5. Oh, I'm sorry 8/15! I didn't mean to overwhelm. I just like to know every single option available and assume others do too! Whatever choices you make will be awesome!
